The Director, Investor Relations (IR) will be responsible for leading the strategic planning, development, and coordination of investor relations activities. The position will provide a corporate marketing activity combining communication and finance expertise to provide existing and potential investors with an accurate portrayal of Bay Street Capital’s performance and prospects. This will be a highly visible position for an individual who demonstrates strategic and analytical thinking, confidence, creativity, effective communication skills, and collaboration. The Director of IR will be the company’s primary point of contact for members of the financial community, including institutional investors and security analysts.

  • The demonstrated ability to communicate business strategies and complex financial information clearly and accurately to a variety of audiences both orally and through written material;
  • Ability to distill competitor results and industry conditions to determine the impact and positioning for Bay Street Capital;
  • High capacity to work remotely, across time zones, per client and team needs;
  • Expertise with developing and maintaining investor relationships and data;
  • Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to communicate confidently and
  • effectively;
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, be self‐motivated and
  • a self‐starter with excellent time management skills;
  • A high degree of independent judgment and ability to handle confidential and
  • sensitive information;
  • Ability to work in a fast‐paced environment with flexible work hours as needed to
  • meet tight deadlines;
  • Must be able to manage projects independently and be a self‐starter;
  • Must have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a desire to produce top
  • level results;

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a spokesperson for Bay Street Capital for current and potential investors;
  • Manage the company’s relationships with institutional investors by providing clear, accurate, and confident communications;
  • Create and deliver press and external-facing materials;
  • Provide feedback and insight to senior and operations management on investor sentiment, proposals, contracts, and industry conditions;
  • Provide feedback to senior management as to the expected reaction from the investment community from proposed transactions, corporate planning/budgeting and operating results;
  • Schedule, arrange, and participate with senior management in meetings with investors and members of the financial community;
  • Develop strategies for individual and institutional client outreach;
  • Research data and potential allies for new relationships;
  • Assess future growth potential with existing client relationships;
  • Provide his own workstation, computer, phone, and other physical resources.
